My Political Priorities
My Conservative values are Respect Stability Health Education and Prosperity. I believe in limited government that is there to do what it needs to do but knows when to allow individuals the freedom to make their own choices.
My Five Key Political Priorities
I believe in democracy and the right for people to have their voice heard and feel that their vote can make a difference. I will always work hard to make your voice heard, and as a consequence I have made these my key priorities:
Principles not posturing – Sticking to my Conservative Principles. Doing what I say I will in Brussels, voting with my convictions and being the true voice of the people in Brussels. Fighting for what’s best for Britain.
Opposing the EU Constitution – Fighting for a Referendum to give people like me, who have never had a say on the EU, the chance to voice their opinion.
Fighting Over-regulation – Fighting for businesses across the region by cutting red tape and stemming needless bureaucracy and over-regulation from the EU.
Encouraging Free Trade – Actively encouraging Free Trade - what the EU was supposed to be for. Making sure trade is open and competitive for Britain. Focusing debate on trade, not further political integration.
Getting the message out – Connecting with voters encouraging young people to get involved in Politics making sure our message is communicated loud and clear from now till election day.
